Our hybrid medicine revolution, which launched in 2019 and has been expanding continuously ever since, offers a unique service model that combines digital age innovation with Meuhedet’s good-old traditions and personal approach to service.
The model offers three main outlets (at the moment. More are coming J) to contact a physician:
➊Online physician request ➋Clinic visit ➌Phone call or online video call: enables members to consult their physician (not an arbitrary physician) without visiting the clinic.
The benefits for the physicians are many:
- A better response to patients – creates a high demand for the same physician (because he is more accessible and available.) For example: The scope of online visits during the COVID pandemic.
- Physicians in a risk group can still receive patients remotely instead of clinics.
- Better flexibility during the physician’s working hours – who can receive patients even when the clinic is closed, without being dependent on it.
- Exposure to advanced medical approaches and technologies that will soon become standard practice.

Natala VakninMeet Natala Vaknin, a Home Hospitalization nurse in the Jerusalem region. I'm Natala Vaknin, a home hospitalization nurse for about 11 years in the Jerusalem region home hospitalization elite unit. I have a B.A. in Nursing, an M.A. in Clinical Geriatrics, an advanced course in Primary Care and clinical training. In the passing year, unexpected events posed complex challenges for the health system. This reinforced the insight that there no better place for a person than his or her home, the safe and pleasant place where their loved ones are. I knew from the start that I was in the right place; that home hospitalization is the "health system's future." As we say, "the world is returning home" and with it, we, the teams, who operate with superb cooperation and great love. This area keeps reinventing itself to adapt to the changing reality. In terms of the patients' profile, home hospitalization is the "hardcore" of the community, consisting of challenging patients with complex chronic illnesses: heart failure, lung diseases, dementia, oncology patients and more. I say at every given opportunity that working in home hospitalization is the highest fulfillment of a nurse's potential, allowing for continuous personal and professional development. The combination of can-do attitude, comprehensive clinical perspective, holistic approach to the patient and his or her family alongside "communication expertise" makes for a job that entails great empathy and tremendous satisfaction. I wish to thank my wonderful workplace for allowing me to grow, develop, learn and meet amazing people. Meuhedet invests many resources in their employees' well-being, promotes learning and development, gives them personal treatment and views them as individuals and as professionals. |

I'm a physiotherapist and a graduate of Ben-Gurion University, with an M.A in Health System and Public Health Management from Bar-Ilan University.
